Our most popular half day safari. Join us at midday for a delicious South African style lunch, and a 2 to 3 hour big 5 safari.

Sunset Safari - Half Day

The perfect Mother City escape after a morning of Cape Town views and activities. After a hot day in the Karoo veld, the animals are just starting to stir, moving towards the watering holes and coming out of the shade.

Morning Safari

This full day Big 5 safari experience is an ideal inclusion in your Cape Town holiday itinerary. Enjoy a great diversity of wildlife and natural Karoo beauty with the opportunity to capture stunning wildlife photos and make African memories to last a lifetime.

Combo Safari

The Aquila combo safari combines the 2 to 3 hour morning Big 5 game drive and either a 1.5 hour afternoon horseback or quad bike outride.

Horseback adventures include a slow walk across the plains with possible wildlife sightings and guided information about the Karoo veld and our conservation projects.

The quad bike experience involves roughing it up with an experienced wildlife guide within the 10,000 hectare conservancy.

Day trip excursions will be offered only at Aquila Private Game Reserve and Spa on Fridays and Saturdays.

Should you wish to extend your stay at the reserve to enjoy any of the other facilities and activities on offer, kindly notify us when making your reservation. Duration of game drive and departure times are approximate and dependent on the interaction of the guests with the ranger and the sighting of animals.
