African Spirit Game Lodge, situated 12 km's west of Mkuze, invites guests to experience true luxury and warm African hospitality. The lodge is situated within the Manyoni Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, against the backdrop of the Lebombo Mountains.

The Reserve is an endangered species reserve consisting of 24 000ha of land hosting the Big 5, diverse bird life and over 70 mammal species.

Chalets

Our catered accommodation consists of 4 quaint, fully serviced chalets. Each comfortable and stylish chalet accommodates 2 people with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioner, mini bar, ceiling fan, tea and coffee facilities. The paths are well-lit and connect the chalets to the main lodge.

The unit has two bedrooms with twin beds and an en-suit bathroom each. It has a small open-plan living space with lounge, dining area and kitchen. All linen, bath towels, kitchen utensils, crockery, satellite TV & a private barbeque area available. No Meals included.

Zebra Plains: Self-catering

Our self-catering house has 3 bedrooms with a spacious comfortable lounge, separate dining area and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. All linen, bedding, bath towels, kitchen utensils, crockery and a reasonable quantity of firewood is supplied. No Meals included.

We offer 1 or 2 game drives, morning and/or afternoon game drives which will allow you to get close to Africas' Big 5 and wildlife in an open vehicle with a trained guide who will not only ensure your safety but who will guarantee a wildlife experience that will capture your imagination, refresh your soul and help to conserve our natural heritage.

Please note: we do not allow self-drives in the Game Reserve..

Manyoni Private Game Reserve is an endangered species reserve of 24 000 hectares. It was recently proclaimed as a nature reserve and received international recognition for the introduction of 28 black rhino in 2005.

The reserve has over 70 mammal species and among them are Elephant, White and Black Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard, Wild Dog, Spotted Hyena, Brown Hyena, Cheetah, African Wildcat, Serval, Lynx, and diverse birdlife of over 450 species.
