Grand Kruger Lodge and Spa is a unique holiday destination, as Giraffes, Wildebeest, Kudu, Zebra, Impala, and other small game roams freely through our property and the whole of Marloth Park. Grand Kruger has a partially covered pool-deck where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails while cooling off in our sparkling pool. In the evening enjoy African cuisine al-fresco, around a friendly bush fire while enjoying the nocturnal sounds of the wild life around you.
The bar:
The bar is an ideal place for guests to take a brake form the African sun, lazing by the pool or just returned from a game drive. By day, lunch, light snacks and afternoon tea is served around the bar and at night this is the perfect place to gather and sip on an exotic cocktail.
We have a large variety of local and international beers, wines, ciders and soft drinks to choose from. The bar is equipped with a big screen TV for guests to stay up to date with news, sports and local wild life documentaries. The bar is also a popular pre-dinner gathering place where some enjoy exchanging game spotting stories, hearing local tales and perhaps having a glass of selected local wine.
The pool:
Sundowners enjoyed around our outside swimming pool are also a welcome ending to a long, hot day. Sip a cooling cocktail as you watch the setting African sun, or splash about in the pool to cool down. Enjoy the sounds of the bush as you relax and unwind.

Both authentic and specialty dishes served here, ads to the whole exclusive Grand Kruger Lodge experience. Experience dining in different venues, styles and techniques. Maybe tonight dinner will be in the restaurant, seated inside and out, or a bush braai in the boma, lit by the African stars and a mesmerising bushfire, an experience you won’t forget. Or perhaps our chefs will decide to do something completely different.
The restaurant can sit 80 people to ensure a brilliant eating experience every time! The tastefully furnished bar lounge and restaurant are fully licensed and equipped to cater to every gastronomic need.
