Where adventure and wildlife respectfully come together and everything is important from the largest to the smallest.
Isambane Camp, located deep within the heart of the Parsons Game Reserve (within the Greater Kruger), offers the perfect "Big 5" safari experience by providing unparalleled guest service with thrilling wildlife encounters. Our eco-camp is conservation-minded, ensuring the wellbeing of cultures and wildlife for future generations.
Our wilderness camp is situated in one of the wildest places in South Africa. Open to the Greater Kruger and home to a myriad of animals, including the Big 5. At Isambane we accommodate our guests in private tents with incredible views, surrounded by the African bush and the sound of nature as background music.
Classic Tents that feature a double bed that accommodates 2 guests with an outdoor shower to experience adventure and wildlife at its best. Other amenities include bathroom amenities, a hairdryer, and a sitting area.
Our luxury tents have full-open serengeti style doors and large windows with a deck overseeing the beauty of being surrounded by nature. All blended perfectly to become one with nature and to prevent disturbing with wildlife as much as possible.
Interwoven with the lowveld's vegetation, our 5 tents provide the perfect refuge from which to observe nature at its finest. Sit at your veranda and be surrounded by vibrant birds and magnificent wildlife. Relax on our pool deck and observe one of our two waterholes, situated just five steps away. Safely observe the torrential African downpours from inside our boma area, witnessing the power of the rain. Isambane is the perfect place to become one with nature.
At Isambane we firmly believe in the sustainable use of the Earth’s resources. As a result, we rely on our Sun to provide all power and electricity to our camp, ensuring we run on 100% solar energy.
To be as sustainable as possible we utilise on-site reverse osmosis filtration on all of our water. Not only is this extremely efficient at removing contaminants to produce clean, high-quality drinking water, but it drastically reduces our plastic usage by removing the need to buy bottled water.
We are proud to be able to say that no trees were removed during the construction of Isambane. We prioritise the conservation of nature, and so moulded our camp around the vegetation.
Part of the Isambane experience is the cuisine and we place a great deal of emphasis on the food we serve and present to our guests. We are certain our guests will be highly impressed with what we can conjure up in the middle of the bush. Isambane can cater for any dietary requirements. All we ask is for prior notice in order for us to meet our guests wishes.
Our boma area will hold early-morning, pre-game drive drinks and snacks for those wanting a wake-up coffee. Once everyone is back, lunch will be ready and waiting, served with cool drinks on the side in case the thirst has awakened. Then, after a long day out and about, it's time for our most important and special meal. Once the sun sets and the stars are shining in the night sky, open a unique bottle of South African wine, feast upon a traditional meal and enjoy the sounds of nature. There is little this feeling can compare to.
Situated within a Big 5 nature reserve and open to the Greater Kruger, Isambane can provide unforgettable safari experiences. Home to over 35 large mammal species, breathtaking wildlife could be just around the corner. Our drives can provide close encounters not only with the Big 5, but also Cheetah, Wild Dog and an assortment of plains game. However, we don’t only focus on the big game, as often the intricate details of nature are just as impressive. You will leave our safari with an understanding of what makes the bush ‘tick’.
