Braai Areas
If you’re South African, you’ll most likely unwind at Jackalberry after a busy day exploring with a cold drink in your hand as the wood crackles away on the fire. If you’re a visitor from further afield, now is the best time to attempt your first braai and maybe ask one of our team members how to craft the perfect potjie.
Swimming Pool
To cool off during the heat of the day, each safari tent features a private plunge pool. The resort offers a communal pool which is the perfect meeting point for our younger guests who can put down the phones and tablets to enjoy some active fun outdoors.
Jungle Gym and Trampoline
There is no shortage of space for the kids to get their shoes off and to stretch their legs (and imagination) at this self-catering family accommodation near the Kruger. Besides the pool area, we also have a jumbo garden chess set, a trampoline, and a covered patio that can double up as a play area during those rainy days.
From Marloth Park, where we are situated, the Kruger’s Crocodile Bridge Gate is only 20 km away. After a busy day exploring, stop by one of the local restaurants, or fire up a traditional South African braai or potjie, while Kudu, Impala and Warthog saunter through the camp.
Not only is this self-catering family accommodation the perfect base for a holiday near the Kruger, it’s also an ideal stop for a trip further afield into Swaziland or Mozambique. And, should you need anything extra during your stay, the Jackalberry team are always happy to help.
