The Lookout Safari Lodge is designed around a central entertainment area raised on to a high platform ensuring unsurpassed views over the bush. The entertainment area offers a seating and viewing area, dining area for 10 and a fully equipped kitchen and built-in braai. The fire pit next to the swimming pool and entertainment area allows for evenings spent under the stars around a crackling fire.

Lookout Safari Lodge offers 5 luxury and elegantly arranged upmarket self catering tented deluxe chalets, one slightly larger tented executive chalet and a beautiful 2 bedroom tented family chalet.
Each chalet is uniquely designed to cater for your privacy and to maximise the authentic bush experience for our visiting guests. The front wall of the chalet is covered with snug fitted canvas, which can roll away to bring nature inside.
The en suite chalets are ideally suited for a couple’s romantic weekend away.
Each chalet has a compact well equipped kitchen and a patio dining area as well as its own private bushveld boma and braai, providing guests with the opportunity to enjoy the perfect camp fire under starry lit African skies.
Guest visiting the Lookout Safari Lodge has the optionality to view game in the comfort of their own vehicle through self-drive game viewing routes offered by the Dinokeng Game Reserve or to book a game drive which is conducted in an open safari game viewer vehicle at an additional cost.
Notwithstanding the Big 5 roaming the area, the lodge and its surrounding area is a birders paradise, ideal for bird watching.

Due to Lookout Safari Lodge focusing more on the romantic leisure market the peaceful quiet environment is what we strive for and we suggest that you consider booking the entire camp when you need to take kids in consideration. Being a bush lodge and due to distances between the chalets, the lodge might not be suitable for handicapped people or children under the age of 12.
