Game Drives

Interactive game drives, lasting up to 3 hours, take place in the tranquil moods of sunrise and sunset. Your game drives will take place in an open game viewing vehicle. On game drives guests will enjoy a sundowner drink at sunset and coffee at sunrise. No persons under the age of 4 years are permitted to join game drives.

Guided Game Walks

Qualified walking guides provide the opportunity for guests to experience the excitement of approaching species on foot, as well as tracking, birding, insects, plant and animal dropping identification. Relaxation Retreats

Various treatments can be enjoyed at our Relaxation Retreats which are situated at Eagles Crag, Bayethe, Lobengula and Long Lee Manor. Please send us an enquiry should you wish to book.

Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

The Shamwari Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is amongst the best in Southern Africa and is fully registered to provide veterinary care to young, abandoned, orphaned or injured wild animals.

Kids on Safari

Children on all ages are welcome at Sarili and Riverdene. Children from the age of 4 years are welcome to join on game drives. For the youngsters under 4 child minders are available at an additional cost.

Upon arrival all kids age 4-11 years will receive a Kids on Safari backpack filled with goodies to take with on game drive. The little ones will receive a soft toy.

Riverdene is newly renovated with a wonderful kids club for games, toys and arts and crafts, and features a one-of-a-kind outdoor Adventure Centre to keep children of all ages entertained. From elevated walkways among the trees to ziplines and climbing walls.

Children staying at Sarili are welcome to spend time at Riverdene's Kids Club and Adventure Centre.

Visist to the Born Free Rescue Centre and Shamwari Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is another great way for kids to grow their conservation knowledge.
